Baptism is an important step for those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ and desire to publicly declare that Jesus is Lord.
At Christ Community Church, we believe baptism is a public expression of your faith and an opportunity to celebrate the new life you have in Christ. Baptism is a picture of the gospel. Going under the water represents Jesus’ death and burial, while coming out of the water represents His resurrection and the new life we have through Him.
Baptism does not save us. We are saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is an act of obedience and a public declaration of the faith we have placed in Him.
Baptism is for those who have personally placed their faith in Jesus Christ and desire to follow Him. At Christ Community Church, we practice baptism by immersion because we believe it provides a clear picture of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

Our next Baptism Class will be Friday, October 31 at 6:00 PM at our East Campus. During the class, we'll explore what the Bible teaches about baptism, answer questions, and help you prepare to share your testimony.
Once you've completed the class, we'll help you prepare for baptism day, including sharing your testimony and understanding what to expect. Then it's time to celebrate as you publicly declare your faith in Jesus through baptism.
Start by watching the baptism video. Then, complete the questionnaire to begin the baptism process.
